MORTGAGE CHECKLIST

Below are a few documents every loan applicant should have ready once you’ve decided to proceed with the loan:

(Please note: other documents may be required depending on your loan type)



A photo ID and proof of Social Security Number.



Pay stubs for the most recent 30 days.



Complete bank and investment account statements from the past 2 months.



Evidence of child support received (if shown on your application).



VA loan applicants need Form DD-214 (discharge papers).



Copies of tax bills, insurance declaration pages and mortgage statements for all properties owned.


